Calling Plan Schedule
Philippines Globe Unlimited CellConnect Prepaid (Startec U.S.)
Registration: Customer will register one phone number from which the calls will originate. Customer will register up to any five (5) cell phone numbers in the Philippines which will be the destination numbers called. The five destination numbers may be changed once in each 30-day period. The destination numbers must be cell phone numbers in the Philippines operated by Globe Telecom, Inc.
Dialing: Customer dials the assigned access number.
Three Plans are offered:
Plan No. 1: a prepayment of $29.99 offers calling for a 30-day service period.
Plan No. 2: a prepayment of $83.97 offers calling for a 90-day service period.
Plan No. 3: a prepayment of $149.94 offers calling for a 180-day service period.
Service period commences on the date of the first call and expires on the expiration of the service period unless recharged. Recharges extend the service period under the plan and are stackable. Auto-recharge option is available.
All purchases are final and no refunds will be given unless stated in your service contract.
Call restrictions: Customers are limited to 4,000 minutes per month and 300 minutes per day. Each call is limited to 60 minutes. These limits do not constitute allotments that will roll-over.
Other fees and charges: Customers will be assessed a Carrier Cost Recovery Fee (CCRF) of 11.9% oneach prepayment. The fee helps Startec recover costs associated with providing the service. This fee is not a tax or charge required by the government.
Customer is also responsible for Government Mandated Charges, which include taxes and fees that Startec is required to assess on its customers by law. These fees vary depending on the location of the customer since state and local taxes differ across jurisdictions.
Customers will be assessed a Universal Service Fund Fee that varies by calendar quarter and which equals 17.4% during the second quarter of 2012. This Fund helps provide affordable telecommunications services for low-income customers and customers in rural areas. It also provides discounts on Internet access for eligible schools, libraries and rural health care providers. The USF Fee is collected from telecommunications carriers and administered by the Universal Service Administration Corporation (USAC). The USAC is responsible for disbursing the funds according to eligibility criteria established by the FCC. This Fee is not a government required charge.
Service may not be used to make calls from payphones.
The terms and conditions applicable under Customer’s underlying resdiential or mobile phone service plan will continue to apply.
